Statements of faith

The Bible is Inspired
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (John 1:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrew 4:12).
The One True God
God has revealed Himself as eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM,” and has further revealed Himself by simultaneously existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19).
Man, His Fall and Redemption (Salvation)
Man sinned and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The Grace of God that brings eternal salvation is available to all men, through repentance toward God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 3:17; Romans 5:12-21, Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Romans 10:13‐15; Luke 24:47).
Jesus The Christ
Jesus the Christ is completely God and completely man. He is the second person of the Trinity. He is the Son of God and born of a virgin without sin, died, resurrected, and ascended to the Father and will triumphantly return. (Matthew 1:20-21, 27: Matthew 45-50, 28: 1-4; John 1:2-3; John 3:16; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal in the Trinity. The gift promised by Jesus Christ for every believer. He makes men aware of their need of Jesus Christ. He is the power that resides inside the believer to teach, guide, rebuke, help evangelize, and to live out Jesus Christ. (John 14:16-17, John 16:7-13; 2 Corinthians 3:17: Acts 1:8; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 2:12; Ephesians 1:13, 5:1; Galatians 5:25)
Baptism In Water
Water baptism is a command given by Jesus Christ for believers when He gave the great Commission. Water baptism is an outward testimony done publicly which testifies of our inward faith. It is evidence of our transformation. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16, Romans 6:4).
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised by Jesus Christ to all believers. This experience may be accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Matthew 3:11; John 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38,39, Acts 10:34-48, Acts 19:1-7)
The Lord's Supper (Communion)
Communion, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing in remembrance of His death, and prophecy of His second coming by all believers. (John 6:48, 51, 53-57; Luke 22:19-20; 2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:25)
Sanctification
By the power of the Holy Spirit, we strive to obey the command, “Be holy, for I am holy.” All believers should pursue this by walking in obedience to God’s Word. (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15, 16; 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24; 1 John 2:6)
Divine Healing
Deliverance from sickness both spiritually and physically is provided for in the redemption of Jesus Christ and is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:16, 17; Mark 16:18; John 5:14; 1 Peter 2:24).
The Millennial Reign of Jesus
The revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of the nation of Israel, and the millennial reign of Christ on the earth. (2 Thessalonians 1:7; Revelation 19:1l‐16; Romans 11:25; Revelation 20: l-7).
The Lake of Fire
The devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet, and whosoever is not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire, which is the second death (Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15).
The New Heavens and New Earth
We, as promised in the Scriptures, look for the new heaven and new earth wherein righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21: l).
